Why Swiss milk

Optimum use of space

80 % der landwirtschaftlichen Nutzfläche in der Schweiz sind Grünland, ideal für die Milchwirtschaft

High quality grassland

Rich meadows with herbs and clover promote animal health and reduce the use of concentrated feed.

Natural feeding

90% of Swiss cows receive regional feed, including the best grass and hay.

Gentle management:

Species-rich meadows with herbs and clover require less nitrogen fertiliser. This protects the environment and maintains soil fertility.

Short transport routes

Regional production and processing guarantee freshness. At the same time, long transport routes and CO₂ emissions are reduced.

Strict standards

Statutory regulations and regular checks ensure the highest quality. This keeps Swiss milk natural, safe and sustainable.

Happy cows thanks to Swiss quality
